Success at the Guitar Competition in Koblenz

Students from the guitar class of Gvantsa Betaneli recently took part in the Guitar Competition in Koblenz, achieving excellent results, including 3rd prizes in different age categories.

The competition brought together many talented young guitarists and was characterized by a particularly high artistic level. Participants performed demanding programs from memory, and in some age categories no 1st prizes were awarded.

The results are especially rewarding considering the musical development of the young participants. Some of the students have been studying classical guitar with Gvantsa Betaneli for only around two years. Their performances demonstrated dedication, courage, musicality, and the results of intensive preparation.

Beyond the prizes themselves, participating in a competition of this level offered the students an important opportunity to gain stage experience, meet other young musicians, and continue developing both musically and personally.

The competition was also distinguished by its highly experienced jury, chaired by Hubert Käppel, one of Germany’s most renowned classical guitarists.
